Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (TSS) (Subclass 482) is the replacement of the abolished 457 Visa. Changes started to be implemented in April of 2017. Same as the 457 Visa, the TSS visa lets you live and work in Australia for your sponsoring employer for the remainder of the visa. The Temporary Short Skilled Visa also known as subclass 482 has 2 categories. The Occupations under Medium and Long Term Skills Shortage List will have 4 years visa with a pathway to permanent residency and occupations under Short Term Skills Shortage List will get 2 years visa which is renewable for another 2 years.
A major advantage of immigrating to Australia are the different pathway for Permanent Residency.

The Cultural Exchange Program is designed to provide opportunities for qualified applicants to work and explore Australia. The visa (subclass 407) is for people who want to come to Australia on a temporary basis to participate in a cultural exchange program. This visa allows participants to enter Australia at any time after the visa is granted, stay in Australia for the duration of the visa, and travel to and from Australia as often as needed until they have finished participating in the program or the visa expires, whichever occurs first.
